Are you an enthusiastic Physiotherapist looking to join a highly experienced interdisciplinary Allied Health team? Do you have a passion for managing a varied fast stream case load?

The National Capital Private Hospital is seeking enthusiastic and innovative Physiotherapists to join our team. The successful applicants would be involved in providing physiotherapy services to inpatient rehab services, acute surgical wards, CCU and ICU.  Casual physiotherapists assist with leave cover for full time staff, when workload dictates and for weekend/out of hours services.

As a Physiotherapist, your responsibilities will include:

·                                      Providing comprehensive Physiotherapy services to inpatients (including inpatient rehab, orthopaedics, general surgery, cardiac and neurosurgery, ICU and CCU patients). 

·                                      Delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence based practice

·                                      Participating in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department

·                                      Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their support people

·                                      Discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team and referrals to external services.

·                                      Assisting in clinical supervision of physiotherapy and allied health assistant students where appropriate

·                                      Excellent clinical handover with multidisciplinary team

Essential Criteria:

·                                      Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent

·                                      Current AHPRA Registration

·                                      Excellent clinical practice skills to manage a high acuity caseload

·                                      Previous hospital or rehab experience is preferred

·                                      Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills

·                                      Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

·                                      Excellent organisation and time management skills

·                                      Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork

·                                      Clinical skills in ICU preferred
