Clinical Nurse
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Level 2 - Oncology Nurse looking to join a supportive and nurturing team?
Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our supportive nursing team on our oncology ward 32 hours a week, on a fixed term contract. You will play a key role in supporting both patients and staff to ensure high levels of patient care is provided throughout their stay.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

As a Clinical Nurse your responsibilities will include:
· Demonstrate high-level professional nursing practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's polices and processes
· Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence based, person centred patient care
· Foster learning within the unit, by demonstrating and sharing your high-level Oncology and palliative care nursing skills on the job with colleagues, peers, ENs, graduates and students.
· Maintaining your own professional learning and continuous professional development
· Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices
· Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuum
· Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes
Essential Criteria:
· Current AHPRA registration
· Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in Oncology Nursing
· Post graduate study completed or working towards
· Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards
· Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
· Excellent communication skills
