About the role
Our team at Brisbane Private Hospital are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Grade 2, to join our Day Surgery Team on a full time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Set at the top of Wickham Terrace, Brisbane’s busiest medical precinct, above the Roma Street Parklands in the heart of the CBD, Brisbane Private Hospital is an acute and rehabilitation hospital with 181 beds, 17 operating theatres and dedicated surgical, ICU and rehabilitation wards. Brisbane Private Hospital specialises in Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal, ENT, Pain and Rehabilitation with additional specialties including Plastics, Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Brisbane Private Hospital also delivers a leading private drug and alcohol program, Damascus Health Services, from its dedicated drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit.
Essential Criteria:
- Nursing registration with AHPRA
- Experience working as a Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse
- Prior leadership experience (Desirable)
- Experience working in a day surgery/acute care setting
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
