Hunter Valley Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our supportive established Rehabilitation team.

We are an independent 83 bed facility with a 5 theatre Operating Suite providing medical (geriatric and palliation), rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and surgical services. Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the health care team
- Adhere to Healthscope policies and procedures, participate in working parties or committees (as required) demonstrate a commitment to Quality improvement, Work, Health and Safety and achievement of hospital accreditation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Ability to establish a professional working relationship with all health care workers
Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Relevant post-registration qualifications and a minimum 3 years’ experience working in a rehabilitation ward setting
- Demonstrated experience in case managing complex admissions
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating clinical outcome measures, managing complex clinical issues and recommending strategies to progress
- Working with the Nurse Unit Manager to foster a strong collaborative team environment
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in an acute setting is required.

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Healthscope - NSWNMA / AMNF - Nurses and Midwives Agreement –HNSRNCN classification starting from $58.83 to $65.27 per hour.
