Are you a Clinical Professional seeking a rewarding career? Prince of Wales Private Hospital is looking for suitably qualified full time Clinical Nurse Specialists to join our established Special Care Nursery as a Clinical Support Coordinator.
 
 
As the Clinical Support Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver quality-nursing care by Assessing, Planning, Implementing and evaluating individual patient care
  • Providing Clinical Leadership to the unit to compliment strategic direction & Operational Processes
  • Providing Guidance and support to all members of the nursing team
  • Provide a standard of care according to the individuals level of experience and education maintaining high quality nursing care within a safe environment
  • Develop and utilise strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communication
  • Work in partnership with families in decision-making regarding provision of care promoting beneficial relationships
 
Prince of Wales Private Hospital is one of Sydney's leading private hospitals. Located in the heart of Randwick, we share a campus with Sydney Children's Hospital, Prince of Wales (Public), and the Royal Hospital for Women. This provides a unique opportunity for collaborative treatment programs and advanced medical and surgical care not usually available in smaller private facilities. Our hospital has 168 inpatient beds and 20 day surgery spaces and we specialise in cardiothoracic surgery, intensive care, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, colorectal, urology, endovascular surgery, maternity, paediatrics, general surgery, ENT, plastics and oncology.
 
 
Selection Criteria:
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Qualified Registered Midwife
  • Postgraduate qualification in relevant specialty
  • Minimum of 4 years Special Care Nursing experience in Special Care Nursery or Neonatal Intensive Care
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
