The Victoria Clinic is looking to employ Cook to join their busy department on a casual basis. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
As a Cook your responsibilities will include:
· Food preparation
· Cooking meals
· Understanding of various dietary requirements
· Ordering of food supplies
· Providing excellent customer service to patients, customers, and staff
Located on Malvern Road in Prahran, The Victoria Clinic is a 115 patient-bed private psychiatric facility that specialises in the provision of high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health services.
All treatments offered are aimed at helping people improve their psychological and emotional well-being in a safe and supportive environment.
Individuals are exposed to a variety of therapeutic, recreational, and occupational activities as a means of restoring health.
The Victoria Clinic is close to public transport, has free onsite parking and is close to Chapel Street restaurants and shopping.
Selection Criteria:
· Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cooking or equivalent, Certificate IV preferable
· Good working knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations
· Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
· Available for shifts over a 7 day roster including weekend work
· Experience in executing all aspects of kitchen operations and food preparation in a hospital or similar catering environment
· Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
· Excellent time management skills
· Excellent communicator
· Well presented
· Adaptable to change
