About the role

Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking a full-time Credentialing Officer to manage the credentialing of medical and allied health practitioners, while also providing essential administration support to the Executive Suites administration team.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday located just minutes from the beach in beautiful Southport.

Please note, this is a 12-month maternity leave contract commencing April 2026.

As a Credentialling Officer and Executive Assistant Support your key responsibilities will include:

  • Credentialing Management: Maintain and update the credentialing database for all medical and allied health staff, ensuring accuracy in insurance, registration, and accreditation details. Processing new and re-credentialing applications, conduct compliance monitoring and follow ups.
  • Administrative Support:  Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Suites administration team including fielding and responding to queries, agenda preparation and minute taking, documentation and communication preparation and additional general administration tasks as needed.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including doctors, staff, patients, and visitors. Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to team efforts to continually improve service delivery and support the achievement of the hospital’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.

About you:

  • At least 3 years of administrative experience in a busy, professional environment
  • Exposure to or previous experience with Credentialing Management
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced Hospital or healthcare setting will be highly regarded
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines in and balance competing priorities a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain and promote good interpersonal, public relations and customer service
  • Understanding of high level of confidentiality
  • Previous experience working with e-Credentialing software will be highly regarded
