Cyber Security Education and Influence Specialist
The Cyber Security Education and Influence Specialist role is a 12-month full time, fixed term position that will join a team to deliver the Healthscope Cyber Security Education and Influence program, including providing training to employees, contractors and third parties with access to Healthscope’s data and systems to uplift cyber safety and help prevent a cyber-attack.
This role uses a continuous improvement model to
- prepare education and influence content aligned with the cyber threat landscape and company risk profile, and use this material to
- train users in cyber safety, and
- uplift human centric cyber security capability and maturity
It is expected that up to 50% of the role will be spent onsite at Healthscope’s clinical sites and head office for in-person training and communication.
This role is based in the Sydney metropolitan region. Frequent travel to metropolitan and regional clinical sites (multiple days per week) is required and it is expected that the successful applicant has their own means of transport for travel within Sydney.
Travel to other clinical sites around Australia, often for multiple days at a time, may be required, at Healthscope’s direction.
The role will suit a highly motivated Cyber Security Education and Influence Specialist who is comfortable being located in a different state (Healthscope’s head office is in Melbourne) and enjoys a fast-paced environment that is focused on the delivery of transformational results.

Qualifications – Mandatory
· Minimum 2 years of experience delivering cyber security awareness and/or IT training.
· Minimum 2 years working experience in Information Security / Cyber Security across a broad range of technical and/or non-technical disciplines
Qualifications – Desirable
- Certificate IV workplace training or other training-related qualifications.
- Prior experience in communications, marketing and change management.
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting.
· IT, vendor or cyber security industry certifications.
