Dietitian
The Hills Private Hospital is a private hospital with 86 inpatient rehabilitation beds, 25 inpatient mental health beds and Day Rehabilitation Services. We currently offer orthopaedic, neurological and reconditioning rehabilitation programs & group based mental health services. Applicants must be flexible, team oriented and prepared to hit the ground running.
As a Dietitian your responsibilities will include:
· To provide nutritional care to eating disorder inpatients and day patients at The Hills Private Hospital through clinical intervention and the provision of nourishing food by liaising with food service.
· To provide dietetic education as part of the multi-disciplinary team for outpatient programs and to provide nutrition counseling to inpatient and day patient.
· To liaise with food services regarding menu planning
The Dietitian will work as part of the health care team, adhere to Healthscope and site policies and procedures, contribute to the efficient, effective and economic running of the unit, participate in working parties or committees as required, demonstrate a commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement through National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards (NSQHS), Workplace Health and Safety, achievement of hospital/facility accreditation and deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.

Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent)
- Current Accredited Practicing Dietitian Status
- Acute hospital experience preferred
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Proven excellence in customer service delivery
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing education and the provision of evidence based practice
