EMDR Trauma Coordinator  - Permanent Part Time – 15hrs/week 

Applications are being sought for an EMDR Trauma Coordinator to join The Geelong Clinic’s Allied Health Team. This exciting role offers an Inpatient EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Program and work alongside outpatient trauma therapies.

The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary team approach, providing assessment, intake support, coordination, supervision and group and individual therapy for patients who experience either Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Complex Trauma. The role will also involve working on pathways into the program and discharge planning.

Selection Criteria

·             Appropriate tertiary qualifications and registration Nursing, Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy as recognized in Victoria or by AHPRA

·             Minimum three years clinical experience ideally in a coordination role

·             Significant and substantial experience with EMDR, exposure therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and group work essential

·             Leadership experience

·             High level organization and collaboration skills
