Pine Rivers Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join their mental health Procedural Department providing ECT & Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatments (functions akin to a Perioperative department). You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse your responsibilities will include:

·         Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN

·         Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs

·         Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy

·         Act as a role model for Safe Practice

You would be joining a dual unit offering ECT services Mon, Wed & Fri then flowing into Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation after ECT.  On Tue, Thu, Sat & Sun we provide TMS only.  As we are a small team with a strong team-work ethic, there is lots of scope to multi-skill across all roles within the unit as well as picking up extra shifts in the general mental health ward or at other Healthscope sites.  TMS is our specialty and is expanding rapidly so the ideal candidate would be required to learn TMS onsite and already have skills in Anaesthetic recovery.  

Essential Criteria:

·         Current Registration with AHPRA

·         Enrolled Nurse Qualification in Monitoring and Administering IV Medications (or working towards)

·         Advanced level of Recovery skills (desired)

·         Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

·         Exceptional time management and organisational skills

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Strong problem solving and analytical skills
