Casual Environmental Services Assistant

Are you an enthusiastic team player seeking a career in healthcare? The Geelong Clinic is looking to employ Environmental Services Assistants to join our supportive team on a casual basis over a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. 

As an Environmental Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high standard of cleaning services
  • Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
  • Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients

The Geelong Clinic is a Private Psychiatric Hospital, offering a wide range of inpatient and day programs supported by an outreach service for individuals requiring mental health care. Located on the outskirts of Geelong, within close proximity to spectacular coastal attractions, the hospital also operates a busy outpatient practice.

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in Hospital/Hotel cleaning
  • Time management skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Available for on call shifts including weekend work
