About the role: 

Sydney Southwest Private Hospital is looking to employ Environmental Services Assistants to join our supportive team. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Sydney Southwest Private Hospital has 84 patient-beds and provides a large range of medical and acute services including; seven operating theatres, Angiography suite, 10 bed Intensive Care Unit as well as a Day Surgery Unit, Mental Health Unit, Oncology Department as well as pharmacy and radiology services.

In collaboration with a large range of accredited private specialists Sydney Southwest Private are leader in comprehensive range of medical and surgical specialties including, but not limited to, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, ear nose and throat, general and plastic surgery, gastroenterology and endoscopy and gynaecology, bariatric surgery, urology and mental health services.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide high standard of cleaning services
• Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
• Working with Children check required
• Serology test required
• Police check required
• Covid vaccination

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in Hospital/Hotel cleaning
• Time management skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Works well independently and within a team
• Available for on call shifts
