Hobart Private is looking to employ a Food Services team member to join their busy department on a casual basis. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
As a Food Services your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays.
- Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards.
- Provide high standard of cleaning services within the kitchen.
- Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures.
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients.
Selection Criteria:
- Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (Desired or working towards or willing to attain).
- All current vaccinations per the health care industry requirements.
- Current right to work, with unrestricted hours.
- Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
- Time management skills as this a busy and key role within the Hospital.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Available for on call shifts.
