An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Health Information Services Officer to join our team.

Prince of Wales Private is seeking an experienced administrator to join our team on a permanent full time basis.  In this fast paced and varied environment you will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

As a Health Information Services Officer your responsibilities will include:   

  •          Medical record retrieval
  •          Provision of health information to internal and external clients
  •          Filing of paperwork
  •          Filing and culling of medical records
  •         Day to day functionality of the Health Information Service Department
  •          Participating in performance improvement activities

Essential Criteria:

  •          Authority to Work in Australia
  •          Proficient in use of email, web based applications and Microsoft Word and Excel
  •          Excellent communication and organisational skills
  •          Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team environment
  •          Ability to work within deadlines
  •          Flexibility in responding to the changing needs of the business
  •          Commitment to document security and patient privacy
  •          Experience with the WebPAS patient information system (Desirable)
  •          Previous experience in a healthcare setting or record keeping environment (Desirable)
  •         Previous experience in Health Information Services (Desirable)
