The Opportunity
Our Medical Records team is seeking enthusiastic Health Information Services Officers to join our team on a casual basis. Shifts to suit your lifestyle!
As a Health Information Services Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Medical record retrieval
- Provision of health information to internal and external clients
- Filing of paperwork
- Filing and culling of medical records
- Day to day functionality of the HIS department
- Participating in performance improvement activities
Essential criteria:
- Authority to work in Australia
- Proficient un use of email, web-based applications and Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team environment
- Ability to work within deadlines
- Flexibility in responding to the changing needs of the business
- Commitment to document security and patient privacy
- Experience with the WebPAS patient information system (desirable)
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or record keeping environment (desirable)
- Previous experience in Health Information Services (desirable)
