Melbourne Private Hospital is seeking experienced a housekeeping assistant/ Cleaner to join our team on a Casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this faced paced and varied environment.
 

About us

Melbourne Private Hospital is a 124 bed private hospital co-located with the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the heart of Parkville, 1.7km from Melbourne CBD. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including extensive neurosurgery, neurology, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and general surgery. These services are supported by a 10-bed intensive care unit, 4-bed acute coronary care unit and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit.
 

As an Environmental Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Provide high standard of cleaning services
• Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
• Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
   

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in Healthcare/hotel cleaning (desirable)
• Working with Children check 
• Commitment to service excellence.
• Proven time management skills and ability to manage priorities
• Strong communication and customer skills
• Attention to detail
• Work well independently and within a team
• Available for on call shifts
