An exciting opportunity exists to join the Allied Health team at The Melbourne Clinic.  We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Grade 3 clinician (Social Work, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist) to join our multidisciplinary team and provide evidence-based interventions to support a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, eating disorders, OCD and neurodevelopmental conditions.

The Melbourne Clinic (TMC) is a large private mental health service, comprising of inpatient, Day Program and Outreach services. TMC provides therapeutic interventions

 Key Responsibilities:

·        Working with the LWP Manager and discipline chiefs to provide leadership and support to the Living Well Program team,

·        Provide clinical supervision to staff and students as required,

·        Contribute to the triage and facilitation of individual sessions to inpatients (relevant to discipline),

·        To facilitate groups within the Living Well Program and in other specialist programs as required, E.g., psychoeducation and group therapy sessions based on DBT, CBT, ACT principles.

·        To coordinate the program timetables as required for All Ages, Older Adults and ICU

·        To support the Living Well Manager in staff allocation, managing leave cover and orientation of new staff

·        To participate in the evaluation and development of policies and programs as necessary

 
Selection Criteria:

·        Appropriate qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology (i.e., Ma or D.Psych if a psychologist),

·        Registration with AHPRA or eligibility with AASW is essential

·        If a psychologist: endorsement in Clinical or Neuropsychology (preferable) along with registration as a board approved supervisor.

·        Clinical experience in the provision of evidence-based interventions in mental health settings,

·        Exceptional time management and communication skills, and aability to work autonomously,

·        Proven skill in the facilitation of therapeutic programs and ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team,
