As an Occupational Therapist your responsibilities will include:
  • You will plan, assess, implement and evaluate clinical care in collaboration with patients/families and the multidisciplinary team so as to achieve identified goals and health outcomes. The Occupational Therapist will contribute to the coordination of clinical care whilst working in partnership with the allied health team, therapy assistants, nursing and non-clinical staff providing direct and indirect clinical input, direction and guidance
  • Incorporate the provision of education and support to patients and their carer/family for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, discharge plans or end of life needs
  • Commit to an ongoing learning and professional development portfolio to ensure case mix requirements are supported and registration requirements are met
Campbelltown Private Hospital is an 82 bed Surgical and Medical/Rehabilitation facility with an expanding range of both inpatient and day patient programs.  Our purpose built modern facility includes a 34 bed Rehabilitation Unit, which offers start of the art facilities, located in Park Central, the medical hub of Campbelltown.  Our multidisciplinary team is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist with experience in hospital rehabilitation programs to join our team.  Expect to work within an environment whereby you will feel appreciated, recognised and supported by Management.
Essential Criteria:
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Generalist clinical experience, hospital based rehabilitation experience desirable - minimum 3-5 years post-graduate experience
  • Experience with Lymphoedema, UL Therapy, amputation etc will be beneficial
  • Excellent time management, communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
  • Flexibility in managing a varied caseload and implementing group and individual programs




Desirable Criteria:
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • Experience in hospital based Rehabilitation
