Orderly - PACU

Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an Orderly to join our team in our Recovery on a part time basis - 64 hours per fortnight.
This role will see you working on our rotational roster Monday - Friday with flexible shift times available. In this role you will work within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their hospital stay.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

As a Theatre Orderly your responsibilities will include:
· Patient Assistance and transfers throughout the hospital
· General housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking of equipment, and waste management.
· Remove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily available
· Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
· Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
· Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
· Work as an active team member to support all work tasks
Essential Criteria:
· Cert 3 in Health Services or interest in obtaining
· Experience as an orderly in a Hospital environment preferred
· Commitment to service excellence
· Exceptional customer service and communication skills
· Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment High level attention to detail
· Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement
· Working with Children check
