Are you a hardworking and motivated individual? Norwest Private Hospital is seeking multiple Theatre Orderlies to join their preoperative team on a full-time basis.

Norwest Private Hospital is located in the rapidly developing North West corridor of Sydney and is operated by Healthscope, a leading provider of private healthcare in Australia. The hospital has 277 beds and is a high acuity facility with an Emergency Department located in Sydney's Bella Vista.

As a Theatre Orderly your responsibilities will include:

  • Safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre
  • Provide safe effective patient handling and positioning.
  • Setting up of theatre.
  • Maintaining a safe patient environment including the setup and cleaning of theatres during procedures
  • Providing support to the nursing staff

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Theatre Orderly experience within the Health Care Industry – (Desirable)
  • Working with Children check
  • Police Check
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster AM & PM Monday – Friday
  • Works well independently and within a multidisciplinary team
