Are you someone with exceptional customer service skills that would love a role that gives back to its community? If you love caring for people, then this is the position for you! A superb casual role is available for compassionate individuals to join our Patient Services team.
As a casual Patient Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
  • Greet all patients/visitors/guests within the hospital with a friendly demeanour and answer enquiries
  • Going above and beyond with caring for our patients
  • Comply with site WH&S policy, infection control standards and policy and procedures
John Fawkner Private Hospital is located in the north west of Melbourne.  With 186 registered beds, a 12 cubicle Emergency Department, 4 Operating Theatres, 12 bed Critical Care Complex and busy Day Procedure Unit the hospital provides a wide range of services to its community. The hospital specialises in orthopaedics, general surgery, general medicine, oncology, cardiology, urology, plastic surgery, ENT and gynaecology. 
Essential Criteria:
  • High level problem solving skills
  • Excellent Customer Service, organisational and communication skills
  • Ensure quality service is provided and government regulations are complied with in relation to food safety and infection control
  • Certificate in relevant field essential
