  • Physiotherapist (Grade 1 or 2) to work in our Outpatient Department
  • Working closely with physiotherapists, OTs, AHAs and Dietician
  •  Responsible for running of group exercise sessions, education sessions and 1:1 initial assessments of new patients.

About the Role

  • Opportunity to work in Holmesglen Outpatient Department on Mondays and Wednesdays. 

·         Participating in Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab, Orthopaedic and Reconditioning Classes.

  • Weekend and ward work available as casual shifts
  • Access to additional rotations through greater Healthscope organisation including specialist wards and outpatient rehabilitation departments
  • Provide comprehensive acute Physiotherapy services to our rehabilitation, outpatients and acute wards
  • Deliver excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence-based practice
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department, supported by the Allied Health Team Lead

Holmesglen Private Hospital is a comprehensive 147 beds acute private hospital. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including an emergency department, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and general surgery. These services are supported by a 6-bed intensive care unit, 9-bed acute coronary care unit and 7 operating theatres.


Selection Criteria:

·         Bachelor in Physiotherapy

  • Current AHPRA Registration- no conditions 
  • Willingness to learn and embed self within a service that rewards loyalty
  • Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Proactive and positive team member
