About the role:
We are seeking a motivated Casual Physiotherapist to join our rehabilitation team to provide flexible cover for annual leave and sick leave. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment focused on helping patients regain independence and maximise their functional outcomes.
You will provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment to inpatients and day rehabilitation within a rehabilitation setting. Shifts will be offered as required to maintain continuity of care during staff leave.

Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital is a 58-bed specialised private rehabilitation hospital located in Hove, South Australia. We offer both inpatient and day rehabilitation services specialising in orthopaedic, reconditioning and neurological rehabilitation. Facilities include an onsite hydrotherapy pool, gymnasium and access to private treatment areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and treatment in a rehabilitation setting in both inpatient and day rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation programs to support functional recovery.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team including a broad allied health team, nursing staff and medical specialists.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Support safe patient mobility, exercise programs, and discharge planning.
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor or Masters in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Strong interest in rehabilitation physiotherapy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying caseloads.

- Excellent rates of pay - $40 - $58 per hour depending on experience, plus 25% casual loading.
- Flexible casual shifts - booked in advance for annual leave cover and short notice sick leave cover where required.
