Are you an experienced radiographer with excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for delivering high quality patient care and a commitment to making a difference to the lives of others? Mount Hospital has an exciting leadership opportunity for the ideal candidate to join our dynamic team. We are at present building two more laboratories one of which is a hybrid theatre. We will have 4 Cath labs as part of our angiography suites exhibiting the latest technologies.

Providing Acute Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation, Coronary and Intensive Care Services our 224 bed private hospital treats over 20,000 patients a year; including performing over 3200 coronary and vascular procedures a year. As a Radiographer your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing or be able to rapidly gain the skills required to deliver a high level cardiac and vascular angiography service;
  • Participate in an on-call roster


Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging;
  • Registered with AHPRA;
  • Radiation License with Radiological Council of WA;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff, and work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team;
  • Ability to prioritise workload and perform under pressure;
  • Relevant university degree or equivalent;
  • Proven experience as a qualified radiographer;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Works well independently and within a team


Desirable Criteria:

  • Cath lab experience
  • Possession or progress towards relevant postgraduate qualification(s);
  • Competence in other Medical imaging specialities e.g. CT
If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant radiography experience against the current Mount Hospital (Professional, Clerical, Technical Employees) Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020 ($43 - $56 per hour).
