John Fawkner Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our administration team on a Part-time basis. You will play a key role working within our supportive team to ensure our patients have a positive experience during their care.

John Fawkner Private Hospital has a long-established tradition for providing quality healthcare to our local community, the veteran community and patients travelling from regional northwest Victoria.
As a Receptionist your responsibilities will include:
- Handle various administrative tasks including:
- Manage a busy reception desk
- Meeting and greeting patients/guests
- Answer and redirect calls
- Managing patient appointments – setting, confirming, and rescheduling
- Conduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visits
- Maintain accurate record management
- Patient billing and receipting
- Perform clerical tasks including data entry and filing
Essential Criteria:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Minimum 1 year of medical administration or reception experience required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Medical Software (i.e WebPAS) - desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
