About the role: 

Lady Davidson Private Hospital has opportunities for Registered Nurses with 4+ years' experience who are looking to take the next step in their career. 

You will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care within a supportive and established nursing team. We empower our nurses to provide high-quality, compassionate care to those who need it most.

About us:

Set on the edge of the beautiful Ku-ring-gai National Park, Lady Davidson Private Hospital in North Turramurra, is one of the largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals in Australia, specialising in orthopaedics, cancer/oncology and neuro-spinal rehabilitation. The hospital is affiliated as a teaching hospital with Sydney and Macquarie Universities.

Lady Davidson offers a friendly and supportive staff environment with a strong commitment to the provision of excellence in the delivery of care. With 115 inpatient rehabilitation beds, the hospital, based in North Turramurra, has been designed to promote rehabilitation through our inpatient programs.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Providing evidenced based nursing care whilst liaising with our multi-disciplinary team 
  • Supervising, directing and guiding nursing team members; New graduates, Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
  • Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
  • Working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for safe practice
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety


Essential Criteria: 

  • Authority to work in Australia
  • Current AHPRA Registration (no restrictions)
  • Rehab nursing experience (desired)
  • Minimum 4 years nursing experience
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards 
  • Eager to learn, grow and make a positive difference
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Work well both independently and within a team
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
  • Basic computer skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF- NSW Nurse and Midwives' -Enterprise Agreement 2022, a salary ranging from $40.26 - $56.54 per hour.
