About Knox Private Hospital
Located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited 334-bed tertiary facility providing a comprehensive range of specialist services including:
- Emergency Services
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
- Medical and Surgical Services
- Advanced Cardiac Services, including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories
Our state-of-the-art perioperative department features 15 operating theatres, including a dedicated Day Procedure Centre and Hybrid Theatre, supporting a broad range of specialties including Cardiac, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Bariatrics, Colorectal, Urology, Vascular, ENT, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Paediatrics and more.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a dynamic acute care environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Advocating for best practice and patient safety
- Supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey
- Providing education to promote recovery and positive health outcomes
- Mentoring and supporting graduate and undergraduate nurses
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and a positive team culture
About You
You are a compassionate and motivated nurse who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to providing outstanding patient care.
To be successful, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (unrestricted)
- Minimum two years' post-graduate nursing experience
- Previous acute medical or surgical nursing experience (highly regarded)
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A commitment to quality improvement and patient-centred care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to participate in a 24/7 rotating roster
- Working rights in Australia
- Working With Children Check (where applicable)

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2025 (Salay range between $41.90 and $53.70 + 12% Super)
