About this role:
Ringwood Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Anaesthetics/ Recovery Nurse to join our team of professionals in providing excellent patient care on a part-time basis.
About us:
With 2 operating theatres, Ringwood Private Hospital offers a range of specialties including, Medical Services, Endoscopy, Urology, Minor Maxilla Facial, Dental, Breast Surgery, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery and Oncology.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare patients for surgery, prepare anaesthesia equipment, assist in anaesthesia administration
Provide patient care and recovery and monitor vital signs post-op
Provide evidence-based care, ensuring patient and staff safety
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
Support your team members to deliver family centred care
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their care
Essential Criteria:
A minimum of 2 years experience in Anaesthetics / Recovery
Current Registration with AHPRA & Working with Children’s card
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Works well independently and within a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and VICNMA/ANMF- VIC Nurse and Midwives' -Enterprise Agreement 2025, a salary ranging from $37.60 – 51.50 per hour.
