The Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse’s with specialist skills in the Anaesthetics to join our dynamic unit on a Full-time basis. Part-time hours may be considered for the right applicant.

The successful applicant may be eligible for a remuneration bonus (subject to taxation & superannutation) upon commencement.

As a Registered Nurse - Anaesthetics your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
  • Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care 
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Nurses and Allied Support staff to achieve excellence in patient’s clinical outcomes and hospital experience
  • Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver patient care
  • Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology

Essential Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA Registration with no restrictions
  • Authority to Work in Australia
  • Working with Children check
  • Relevant experience in Anaesthetics
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Commitment to quality patient care
  • Works independently and within a team
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills


Desirable Criteria:

  • Post-graduate qualification in Anaesthetics or working towards
  • 2 or more years’ experience in Perioperative Anaesthetics

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2020 – 2024, a salary ranging from $33.91 - $47.62 per hour.
