Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Perioperative team on a permanent part-time basis (32 Hours per week). You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided. The role will cover Recovery and Anaesthetics and reports to the Theatre Nurse Educator

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, your responsibilities will include:
· Identify educational needs by partnering with Nursing Leaders (i.e. DON, NUM, CNS) and Clinical Support Functions (i.e. Quality, Infection Control)
· Lead and foster a learning environment
· Maintains a professional and constructive working relationships
· Prioritises Healthscope’s patient safety and quality frameworks
Essential Criteria:
· Authority to Work in Australia
· Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
· Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
· Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE)
· Working with Children check (if relevant)
· Thorough knowledge of ACORN standards and current legislation
· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
· Demonstrated experience in eLearning platforms
· Knowledge of adult learning practises and contemporary education practises
· High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
· Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
· Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - NSWNMA / AMNF - Nurses and Midwives Agreement – NUM classification starting from $64.30 - $70.19 per hour
