About the Role:
The Melbourne Clinic, one of Australia's largest private mental health services, is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to join our growing team in Richmond, Melbourne. We have multiple opportunities available across a range of inpatient mental health programs and specialty services.
As a valued member of our nursing team, you will deliver safe, evidence-based, person-centred mental health care; establish therapeutic relationships with consumers and their support networks; work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team; participate in recovery-focused care planning; support quality improvement and clinical governance activities; and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

The Melbourne Clinic is Australia’s largest private mental health service providing 203 inpatient beds, standalone Day Program centre, an Outreach Program, consulting suites at three locations and a Consultation Liaison service.
Nationally and internationally renowned for our quality mental health care services, our focus is to provide our patients with the support and expertise from a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team of over 200 accredited Psychiatrists, Addiction Medicine specialists, Pain Medicine specialists and experienced registered mental health nurses, Allied Health Staff (Psychologists, Social Workers, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologist and Art Therapist) in conjunction with several key support services such as Administration and Housekeeping services. Our Intake team, all experienced mental health clinicians, triage all enquiries and admissions.

Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver safe, evidence-based, person -centred nursing care within a specialised impatient mental health setting
· Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
· Ensure patient and staff safety
· Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
· Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, with medication endorsement where applicable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and clinical assessment skills
- Commitment to recovery-oriented, person-centred and quality patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Professional, accountable, adaptable and resilient approach to nursing practice
- Commitment to continuous learning, clinical excellence and professional development

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF- NSW Nurse and Midwives' -Enterprise Agreement 2022, a salary ranging from $40.4255 - $53.6980 per hour.
