·       $41.49 - $52.97 p/h plus night duty penalties.

Gold Coast Private Hospital would love you to join our dedicated team in our Oncology Ward working Night Duty; 72 hours per fortnight.   Use your expertise and care to help guide our patients through their treatment journey.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

Your duties will include

·       Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients, administering treatments and managing symptoms with empathy and compassion.

·       Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists, therapists, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive care plans.

·       Educate patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and ongoing care needs.

·       Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

·       Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice.

·       Be involved in managing shifts overnight.

Essential Criteria:

• Bachelor of Nursing ( AHPRA Registration )
• Minimum 2 years in experience as an RN.
• Experience in oncology nursing preferred.
• Competency in chemotherapy administration will be highly regarded.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate approach to patient care and a commitment to improving the lives of those affected by cancer.
