Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout
Peninsula Private Hospital is looking for experienced Scrub/Scout RN’s for a variety of specialty’s including Major / Minor Ortho, Urology, General, Plastics and Gynae to join our Perioperative Services Team.
- Permanent part time role - 30 hours/week

- Week day and occasional weekend lists
Are you a motivated Scrub Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? This might be the role for you! Work in brand new, state of the art theatre facilities, CSSD and PACU spaces on a permanent part time basis.
As a Scrub Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver evidence based nursing care
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members, graduates and students
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their surgery and health recovery

Peninsula Private Hospital is a 62-bed facility located on the Redcliffe Peninsula, providing Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation services with an expanding Perioperative Department. The hospital is undergoing significant growth, including expansion of theatres and commissioning of a new High Dependency Unit in late 2026.

Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA or relevant governing body
- Previous Scrub Nursing experience
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
