Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Norwest Private Hospital is looking to employ Registered Nurses on a casual basis for their Instrument/Circulating nurse roles working with our specialised Neurosurgical, General, Orthopaedic and/or Cardiothoracic surgical teams. 


Due to our expanding workforce several opportunities have arisen for a highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our team. You must be an enthusiastic, experienced nurse seeking the opportunity to join our dynamic instrument/circulating nursing team.


As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver evidence based nursing care
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensure patient and staff safety
  • Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery

Essential Criteria: 

  • AHPRA registration- Registered nurse
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic, General or Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
  • Current working with Children check
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards and a commitment to patient centred care
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills  
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Intermediate computer skills
