Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist looking for a rewarding place to work?
Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our Allied Health team on a part time basis one day a week.
This opportunity will see you work across a diverse mix of inpatient rehabilitation cases including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning and geriatric patients. You may also care for acute inpatients, day rehabilitation and cardiac rehab.
As a Speech Pathologist, you will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and efficient services and exceptional patient care.

Your duties will include
· Provision of speech pathology assessment
· Treatment and discharge planning for acute hospital inpatients as well as rehabilitation inpatients and day patients
· Clinical documentation and report writing are to be of the highest standard.
· Compliance with hospital policy and procedure.
· Participation in audits and service improvement activities is also required
Essential Criteria:
· A degree in Speech Pathology
· Previous acute hospital experience
· Eligibility for membership to Speech Pathology Australia
· Exceptional time management and communication skills
· Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
· Commitment to professional development
· Video Fluoroscopy Swallow Study ( VFSS) and tracheostomy experience preferred but not essential
