The Opportunity

Are you a motivated and passionate nurse inspired by professional development and nurturing of others? An exciting career opportunity as a Student Facilitator awaits your application at Peninsula Private Hospital.

 You will play a key role in ensuring the planning, development and teaching of nursing students as well as assist the Hospital Educator in the delivery and development of clinical staff.

This is a Part-time position working 45.6 hours a fortnight

As the Student Facilitator your responsibilities will include: 

• Provide support and teaching to nursing students.
• Liaise with external training facilities.
• Promote a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to all patients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledge 
• Support the Hospital Educator in the development and delivery of staff education as needed.

Essential Criteria: 

• Registered Nurse with Current AHPRA Registration 
• Certificate IV workplace training and Assessment (TAE) (or working towards)
• Minimum of 3 years relevant educator experience 
• High degree of computer literacy including MS Office Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
