An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and team orientated individual to lead a supply team and manage the dynamic and fast-paced supply function at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. Located within the prestigious Randwick Health and Innovation Precinct, we collaborate closely with Sydney Children’s Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women, and Prince of Wales (public) Hospital—offering a dynamic and progressive environment.

Whilst we are leaders in orthopaedics, neurosurgery, gynaecology & general surgery, we are also one of NSW’s premier maternity hospitals, caring for over 1,600 expectant families each year.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of four supply officers in the Supply Department. The role compliments the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the hospital. The position is hands on and requires a high level of physical work.
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following:
· Previous Senior Supply experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
· Sound understanding of inventory management systems
· Basic medical product knowledge and their intended use
· Strong IT literacy, including experience in the use of ERP software (Technology One experience an advantage)
· Ability to manage, motivate and provide effective leadership of all Supply staff
· Strong attention to detail including accurate data entry
· High level organisation and time management skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively
· Team orientated and the ability to act in a professional manner at all times when dealing with both internal customers, external suppliers and other key stakeholders within the organisation
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· The ability to maintain safety standards and adhere to guidelines, policies and procedures
