Melbourne Private is seeking experienced an Environmental Services Assistant/ Support Services Attendant to join our team on a casual basis.  You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this faced paced and varied environment.

John Fawkner Private Hospital is a fully accredited 186-bed acute care facility providing a comprehensive range of surgical, medical, cancer and critical care services. As an Environmental Service Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high standard of cleaning services
  • Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
  • Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
  • Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
     

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in Healthcare/hotel cleaning (desirable)
  • Working with Children check (if relevant)
  • Commitment to service excellence.
  • Proven time management skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Strong communication and customer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Work well independently and within a team
  • Available for on call shifts
