Team Leader (In-Home Disability Services)
At the Healthscope Independence Services (HIS), we are seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader to lead our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services operating within the NDIS.
· Permanent, Part Time
· Classification: Level 3 – (Pay point will be determined based on experience and qualifications).
· Work Location: Lavington, NSW

About the Role
This key leadership role will report to the residential supervisor. The team leader will be required to support a range of functions including administration, procurement, clinical training, recruitment, client services, ad hoc project work, training and compliance. This role will collaborate closely with internal teams to maintain service continuity and positive client outcomes.
A typical day may include:
- Supporting clients with complex needs and ensuring services align with their individual goals
- Provide administrative support to Residential Supervisor
- Oversee roster management and ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain safe and consistent service delivery
· Ensure adequate stock levels of individual client aids and all required cleaning chemicals
- Facilitating individual 1:1 monthly client meeting
- Supporting with internal and external audits
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or related qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year leadership or supervisory experience in disability or healthcare services is required.
- Experience in the disability sector preferred.
- Excellent communication, written, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently without supervision and use judgement to appropriately escalate issues.
- Ability to mentor and coach staff to ensure best practice service delivery is achieved.
