About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, detail‑oriented Billing Officer to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a full‑time, onsite position, with the option to work one day from home (for full-time role only) once fully trained.
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Environment: Modern office, close to shops and public transport
What You’ll Bring
Essential Criteria
- Experience in an acute hospital or medical practice setting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with hospital mainframe systems (e.g., WebPAS) and strong MS Office skills
- Previous use of hospital billing systems
- Understanding of health fund contracts
- Team‑based work experience
- Cash handling and reconciliation experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
