 Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse looking for a new position?

About this role:
The Day Surgery unit is a Day of Surgery admission Centre as well as a Day Surgery/ Endoscopy unit.  There are 2 procedure rooms which are utilized for endoscopy procedures.  Due to growth in our day surgery and endoscopy specialty, we are seeking a casual registered nurse to join our day surgery team.

 About us 
Sunnybank Private Hospital is an evolving facility that has provided care to the local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care. Recently undergoing a significant redevelopment, our facility has new consulting suites, operating theatres, day surgery and endoscopy suites. The facility is comprised of 122 inpatient beds, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms and an ICU.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based standards of nursing care
  • Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care 
  • Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health journey

 Essential Criteria:

  • Authority to work in Australia
  • Working with Children check (if relevant)
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
  • Minimum 3 years post graduate experience within Day surgery/Endoscopy
  • Demonstrated experience across Day surgery, Admissions, Procedure Rooms, Recovery and Discharge.
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

 If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - VIC / HVRN - Nurses and Midwives Agreement – Registered Nurse classification starting from $37.6052 to $51.5089.
