About Knox Private Hospital

Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited 334-bed tertiary facility providing comprehensive healthcare services, including Emergency, Medical, Surgical, Cardiac and Critical Care services.

Our modern perioperative department features 15 theatres, including a dedicated Day Procedure Centre and Hybrid Theatre, supporting a diverse range of specialties including:

-       Cardiac

-       Orthopaedics

-       Neurosurgery

-       General & Colorectal Surgery

-       Bariatric & Liver Surgery

-       Endoscopy

-       Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

-       ENT

-       Vascular

-       Gynaecology

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (Theatre Set Up), you will play an integral role in ensuring our operating theatres are prepared and equipped to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

-       Preparing surgical instruments and operating theatre setups for scheduled procedures

-       Supporting efficient theatre operations through inventory management and stock control

-       Liaising closely with clinical teams regarding list changes and additional cases

-       Rotating and checking consumable stock to maintain compliance and availability

-       Managing and storing sterilised instruments and equipment

-       Contributing to a safe, organised and efficient perioperative environment

About You

You are a proactive and organised Registered Nurse who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in maintaining high clinical standards.

To be successful, you will have:

·       Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

·       Previous operating theatre experience (12 months desirable)

·       Strong organisational and time-management skills

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

·       A commitment to delivering outstanding patient care

·       The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2025 (Salay range between $41.90 and $53.70 + 12% Super)
